A bold, adaptable identity designed for a new generation of London day parties.

Client: Days Like This Brunch

Industry: Events / Hospitality / Culture

Services: Brand Identity

Year: 2018

DLT Brunch needed to move beyond its original visual identity and establish a mark that felt simpler, younger and more adaptable across events, campaigns and digital content.

the challenge

Create an identity simple enough to recognise instantly, but distinctive enough to carry the energy of the event.

The original identity was detailed and difficult to use consistently at smaller sizes. The redesign needed to feel stylish and playful while remaining strong across social posts, event screens, photography and future campaigns.

From full name to cultural shorthand

“Days Like This” was reduced to the initials audiences already used: DLT.

The shortened name created the foundation for a more immediate, confident mark; one that could operate as both a logo and a stamp of belonging.

Built to move

DLT Logo

A heavy geometric base gave the mark clarity, while the staggered construction introduced movement, depth and a playful sense of forward momentum.

Recognisable wherever the party happens

From social announcements to international events and live stage environments, the identity became a consistent signature across the DLT experience.

DESIGNED IN 2018.
STILL RECOGNISABLE TODAY.

The DLT mark became a consistent visual signature across event communications, social content and live experiences.

Reflection

The strength of the DLT identity comes from reduction. Replacing a detailed logo with a bold three-letter mark created something easier to recognise, easier to use and better suited to the pace of the brand. Years later, its continued visibility shows the value of building for longevity rather than novelty.
