Design has always been about more than making things look good.
I started RBGD while studying Graphic Design at the University of East London, and over the years it has grown alongside me — from freelance design practice into the way I approach brands, campaigns and creative problems today.
That journey has taken me from independent projects to senior and lead design roles, working across education, events, entertainment, lifestyle and culture.
Different clients. Different audiences. Different problems. The constant has always been finding the idea that makes the design mean something.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The best design does more than communicate.
It creates a reaction.
It can make someone stop scrolling, walk through a door, buy a ticket, trust a business, remember a name or feel like they’re part of something.
That’s the thinking behind RBGD. Design should have purpose, personality and enough feeling to make people move
sometimes literally,
sometimes emotionally.
