Year: 2013

Opal360 was a beauty clinic operating across London and Leeds, specialising in semi-permanent make-up alongside skin and hair care.

The identity needed to balance two worlds: the credibility and cleanliness associated with professional treatment, and the warmth and accessibility of an everyday beauty brand.

The CHALLENGE

Beauty and healthcare often communicate in very different ways. Opal360 needed the trust and clarity associated with professional treatment without becoming cold or overly medical.

The challenge was to create an identity capable of speaking confidently to both consumers and professionals while remaining appropriate across clinic communications, packaging and retail-facing applications.

Reflection

Opal360 was an exercise in balance: creating an identity that could communicate professional credibility without losing the warmth expected from a consumer beauty brand.

By building a simple visual system around identity, colour, pattern and packaging, the brand could move consistently between clinical and everyday environments without relying on the logo alone.
